FRAM

Fish Restaurant

We wanted to create a nautical atmosphere that steers away from the usual, comfortable, and predictable tropical routes, instead embracing the adventurous spirit of Melville’s novels. “Fram” is the name of the ship Roald Amundsen used to reach the South Pole; we turned it into a restaurant that dares to go against the tide, embracing the world of the absurd. From an eccentric captain (illustrated by Barbara Petris) to animals with human-like behavior, the key concept is decontextualizing communication.
